Rebranding and revolutionary green packaging
SAVOURA BIO
SAVOURA sends a clear message in favour of the environment
.
.
Sainte-Sophie, November 17, 2016 – Stéphane Roy, president of SAGAMI / SAVOURA / SAVOURA BIO is proud to announce the arrival of SAVOURA BIO greenhouse tomatoes in grocery stores across Quebec. Thanks to a new packaging tray and a dynamic new logo with colours representing responsible and sustainable agriculture, organic tomato lovers will now be able to easily find SAVOURA BIO (formerly named BIOLOGICO) tomatoes in their favourite grocery stores. Created in 2011, BIOLOGICO was, up until as recently as yesterday, the brand name for the first line of organic tomatoes marketed by Mr. Roy’s company.

Revolutionary 100% compostable packaging
.
During this announcement, Stéphane Roy was especially proud to unveil the new packaging tray used to market the SAVOURA BIO tomatoes.
.
“Not only are these packaging trays 100% compostable, from a domestic or municipal source, but they are manufactured here in Canada. In fact, they are made from North American recycled virgin forest fibre by CKF Inc., a Nova Scotia company that is a leader in the manufacturing of environmentally responsible packaging. This is completely in line with our vision of an even greener product that meets the expectations and addresses the concerns of our customers,” said Mr. Roy.
.
This statement clearly expresses Stéphane Roy’s desire for his industry to update its production methods and revise the overall packaging process of a product. “We are now in 2016, so there is no reason to stand still when it comes to innovation related to our cultivation methods and the packaging of our products,” concluded Mr. Roy.
