A journalist and columnist for Radio-Canada for over 40 years, Lionel Levac has assiduously followed the world of agriculture, agrifood and rural life. An undisputed reference in the field, he has fueled the Quebec media landscape through the La Scène Agro podcast (put link) on the Agro Quebec website, highlighting the main players and products on the agri-food scene, from organizations to governments to institutions. His weekly column on Radio-Canada radio has also enriched discussions throughout his career.
For the past 9 years, Lionel Levac has hosted podcasts on La Scène Agro, dedicated to the world of agri-food. After this long period, he decided to tend to his own garden and pantry rather than talk about others’. With the exception of a few occasions or special features, this could be called retirement, although he remains present on an ad hoc basis for certain collaborations.
